Absolute Locating is owned and operated by Richard and Lisa Lamontagne and their four daughters, Halynne, Joelle, Bryn, and Cassidy. The company evolved from Bro-Kin Anchoring Services Ltd., which Richard has operated since 1996 and purchased in 2002. SE Line Locating, based in Estevan, Saskatchewan, became a wholly owned subsidiary of Absolute Locating in September 2009.

Since then, Absolute Locating has grown to over 20 employees, providing services across southeast Saskatchewan, southwest Manitoba, northwest North Dakota, and the Regina area.

Over the years, our services have expanded beyond traditional line locating to include advanced mapping, inspection, and data-driven damage prevention solutions. By combining experienced field crews with modern technology, including GIS-based data management through our AbsaMap platform and UAV-supported inspection and mapping, we deliver accurate, reliable information to support safe operations and regulatory compliance.
