Absolute Locating is owned and managed by Richard and Lisa Lamontagne and their four daughters, Halynne, Joelle, Bryn and Cassidy. Absolute Locating evolved from Bro-Kin Anchoring Services Ltd., which Richard has operated since 1996 and which he purchased in 2002. SE Line Locating based in Estevan, Saskatchewan became a wholly owned subsidiary of Absolute Locating in September, 2009.

Absolute Locating currently has five crews including seven line locating units and a soil sampling truck for the agriculture industry. Absolute Locating has coverage in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Absolute Locating proudly services many customers including Advantage, Arc Resources, ATCO Midstream, BP Canada, Canadian Natural Services Ltd., ConocoPhillips, Enbridge Pipelines, Enerplus Resources, Husky Energy, NAL Resources, PennWest Petroleum, Pemoco Ltd., Petrobakken, Taqa North, Tundra and Zargon.
